Click & Collect at Friern Barnet Community Library

  ·        First, you need to join the library. To do this please fill in the online form and read the Terms and Conditions and send this to us via the website.

To complete membership and collect your books, you, or someone you trust to sign for you, will need to visit to the library to show some form of identity for you (which should include your address), plus the joining fee for your library card, which is £2 for an adult and £1 for a child.

**If you are 16 or under, please note that a parent or guardian has to fill in the membership form for you (You don’t need them to fill in a Book Request form though).**

·        To find the books you want to read, use our catalogue. You don’t need to be signed in, just use the search box on the upper right part of the screen.

·        Once you have chosen what you want to see please cut & paste the title, author and class of each book into the separate boxes in the book Request Form below and send this to us via the website.

Class: CRI/THR CON

We will do our best to supply the requested books.  As loaning via our automated system is new, there may be some books that are unavailable.  If this is the case, we will contact you to ask you to make another selection.

·        You are allowed up to 6 books on each ticket, but only Children’s or Young Adults books can be borrowed on a Youth Ticket if the youth is under 12 years old – we allow youth members of 12 – 16 to borrow adult books.

·        We will email or phone you to let you know when you can collect your membership card(s) and chosen book(s).

·        Possible collection days and times are Monday-Friday 15:00 – 17:00.

Once you have your membership card you can then order more by just filling in another Books Request form – but remember that you need to bring back your read books before more can be issued to you!
